Composed by Antonio Vivaldi (1678-1741) and published in 1711, this Concerto Grosso for Violin and String Orchestra is the sixth concerto from the L’estro armonico collection. This arrangement of the first movement by Kyle J. Maxwell- Doherty (b. 1986) and published in 2019 features a xylophone soloist accompanied by four marimba parts. A xylophone and at least three marimbas are required to perform, including one 5.0 octave and two 4.0 octave.
