Composed by Patrick Duvall (b. 1995) in 2019, this solo for a trio of unacquainted instruments (kalimba, timpano, and crotales) covers the awakening of a deep serpent of coral rising from the depths. Through a mix of extended techniques and manipulation of the instruments the piece is an abyssal experience. The coral god rises.
